How to Redeem Your Trials- #3

More opportunities to grow in the Lord:

  • Use your personal experience during trying times to develop accurate empathy for others. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can actually develop thankfulness throughout our troubled times because we experience God’s comfort; and then in turn, we can learn how to comfort others in their time of need. Psalm 26: 2 & 7; 2 Corinthians 1:4
  • Do good for others while you can and every time you can. Trials can afford us good insight about how it feels to be needy and weak. As a result, we are more freely able to offer heartfelt assistance to others. James 2:18; Heb. 13:16; Phil. 2:4; Gal. 6:2; 1Thess. 5:11; Prov. 3:27
  • By faith, choose to continually surrender to the Lord’s will with the sacrifice of praise and thankfulness. Submit to the work He is accomplishing. Hebrews 13:15; 1 Peter 5:6
  • Seek wisdom- the ability to do God’s will in His timing and to look at life from His perspective- as you continue to go through rough times. James 1:5; Proverbs 4:5
